A collaboration with the Racing Team OWL

New car new paint

Every year the Racing Team OWL has to build a new car to compete in the annual racing events and this year I was asked to come up with a design to put on the all new carbon fibre car. The team leader and I quickly came to a version we liked and so all of the design was created. After agreeing where to put all of the 40 sponsors the design was printed onto vinyl stickers and then with only one try applied to the car.

The whole foil for the frontwing was almost 2m wide to make up for application errors.

Each triangle was drawn and then filled in individually.

Sponsorlogos were carefully placed to give each one as much space as it deserves.

The finished car at the first event 2021 in the czech republic.
